How to jailbreak your iPhone - Open Cydia. If it’s your first time opening Cydia then when prompted tap “Upgrade Essential” and install the upgrades
- In Cydia Tap on “Manage”
- Tap on “Sources”
- Tap on “Edit” on top right then tap on “Add” on top left
- Type in “http://cydia.hackulo.us” Cydia will warn you about copyright information just tap ok
- Wait for repo to be added and updated
- Tap “Search” and search for and install Appsync for OS 3.1! This will let you install cracked iPhone apps through iTunes.
- Tap “Search” and search for and install Installous
- Restart your phone
- Using Installous
- Launch the Installous iPhone app
- Installous should load the Apptrackr webpage. From here you can browse and search for free iPhone Apps. You’ll find every app has a full description from the Appstore, screenshots, and download links.
- Once you find the iPhone app you want to install tap “Download” and select the version and link you want to use. The cracked apps files are hosted on file sharing websites, some are faster then others. Rarely have I run into broken download links.
- Tap “Download” to begin downloading the cracked iPhone app, a progress bar for the download will be displayed. Hang tight while your app downloads
- Once the download completes tap “Downloads” at the bottom of the screen. Here you will find a list of your downloaded files.
- Tap the app you want to install and tap “Install”. A progress bar will be shown below. This can take sometime depending on the size of the download.

Installous is also capable of syncing cracked apps to iTunes. Tap “Settings” in installous and switch iTunes sync “ON” to enable this feature. You will also find a few other settings here.
Some of your free iPhone apps may have large file sizes and take a while to download. You should install SBSettings app and get the “KeepAwake” or “Insomnia” toggles from Cydia if your downloads are getting canceled. These toggles will allow you to keep your wifi connection awake even if your screen turns off. This will prevent your wifi from disconnecting and ruining the download. You may also have trouble installing larger iPhone apps, like GPS apps(tomtom for example). For these larger iPhone apps I recommend downloading them on your PC and using iTunes to install them.
How to get free apps installed through iTunes:
Use Apptrackr or a forum like xSellize & SiNful iPhone to find and download the apps. Usually these app downloads will end in a “.ipa” file extension. Do not try to open them, simply drag and drop the files into iTunes and sync the app to your iPhone like you would with any other app.

hi! please help! ive just jailbroken my iphone 3gs 3.1.3 with sprit. got cydia and install0us installed. my problem is when i sync my phone through itunes, the apps that i got through installous,gets deleted,after sync. i cant even drag the apps to itunes! In my installous settings,my itunes sync is turned on.
any help will be greatly appriciated!!!!
