iPad 2 & iPhone 4S Jailbreak Released!

Earlier today the chronic dev-team released Absinthe, a simple one click iPhone 4S Jailbreak application. Currently Absinthe is only available for MAC OS X. The windows release should be here very shortly. This jailbreak is by far one of the easiest to perform, literally you just launch Absinthe, plug-in your iPhone 4S or iPad 2, click jailbreak and absinthe takes care of the rest. The jailbreak is also untethered and working with the same corona exploit from pod2g. You don’t even need to put your device into DFU recovery mode, the whole process takes a few minutes, duration may vary based on how much storage your device is using as the jailbreak does it’s own back-up and restore (not through iTunes, you don’t lose anything).

Because I primarily use Windows as my operating system, I will not be making a jailbreak guide for this until the windows version of absinthe is released. I have however already used this jailbreak on my iPhone thanks to my buddy Derek, who had a mac book handy for me to jailbreak my iPhone 4S.
