ProSwitcher is a front-end app for Backgrounder which lets you background apps. You will need to install Backgrounder from Cydia to use ProSwitcher, both are free Cydia apps.

The layout and feel is similar to safari’s iphone multitasking for switching pages. Other great features are the ability to quit apps from within ProSwitcher. I must say I was weary to give ProSwitcher a chance after trying Multifl0w. If you tried Multifl0w, ProSwitcher is nothing like that slow buggy garbage. ProSwitcher is also lightweight and uses little memory. Until now I had been using Kirikae since it was released. Kirikae was functional and served its purpose but ProSwitcher takes the cake. iPhone Multitasking? – ProSwitcher is the best jailbreak app for this.
